horse jewelry by Jennifer Kistler
leather cord necklace featuring horse image Joy

Horse jewelry, sculptures, giftware, art, and model horse tack... Welcome to my virtual studio! I have always loved horses, nature, art, and creating things. This has taken many forms over the years, from drawing, painting, and sculpting, to creating jewelry and scale miniature model horse tack, some of which is shown here on my web site. Have a look around!

Exclusive equestrian jewelry: each piece is handmade in .999 Fine Silver and then incorporated into necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, often accented with beautiful natural stones. The images range from realistic to stylized to primitive to Swedish Dala horses, so there's something for every horse lover! My jewelry is available in my Etsy shop, where you can also find seasonal and nature-inspired jewelry, and sometimes painted medallions.

You can also find notecards, journals, tile-topped boxes, and other giftware featuring my artwork and photography in my Cafe Press shop.

MODEL HORSE TACK: I am making more traditional (1:9) huntseat saddles on new updated saddle trees. Watch for a few public sale pieces in 2010.

PAINTING SLOTS: I do not plan to accept any more orders at this time. Once existing orders are completed, I will be painting some sale models, mostly mini scale resins.

Why Riverside? You may notice I have a web site and e-mail address with the word RIVERSIDE in it, and wonder why. When I first started selling my work as a youth, I was living at the edge of the great Columbia River, and named my business in honor of that beautiful setting. However, a few years ago I decided to switch to using a name that would be easily identified with me as the artist, not so generic and common. (how many Riverside restaurants, hotels, etc. have you seen?!) I will eventually be switching my web site URL to a domain with my studio name. At that time, you will be directed to it from here.
