Painting Projects:

PAINTING SLOTS FOR CUSTOMERS
Current painting slots in the approximate order they will be completed for my customers:

Taboo in pinto (Currently in progress)
Independence in palomino
UVM Yesteryear in seal bay/brown
Nevada in wild sabino

Once the current painting slots are completed, I will be offering painting slots one at a time. I plan to state some preferred resins/molds I want to work on, which should help you decide what ideas to submit when the time comes. I will continue to work on all scales, but plan to devote more painting slots to minis than the big guys. Stay tuned! Join my Yahoo group for announcements.

OTHER HORSES TO BE PAINTED
Coming in the future are several lovely resins. Most will be offered for sale when completed, though a few may stay in my collection for a while. I plan to show them until they sell. If something really piques your interest, let me know!

Taboo in dark grulla (possibly with overo pattern)
Alegria in sooty palomino
Tsunami in chestnut (or another color if I change my mind)
Verrochio in mahogany bay (or another color if I change my mind)
Amirah in red chestnut (I also plan to make a bedouin costume for her)
Finn in strawberry roan
Tango in dun

RECENTLY COMPLETED:

Mini Independence (Mindy) in chestnut tobiano, which was sold as a 50% benefit to Northwest Expo. Thanks to the bidders who made the auction a success, and congratulations to her new owner!

below I Dream In Color
mini scale Dinky Duke (by Morgen Kilbourn). I am keeping him for now, and plan to make dressage tack for him.
He has been painted black tobiano, pattern inspired by a real sport horse (sired by Art Deco). These are PRELIMINARY photos,
he has not been sprayed with clear coat and had his eyes glossed in these photos. I'll post updated final photos soon.
He debuted at NW Expo in halter and got 2nd in the TB/Warmblood class (now NAN qaulified), and was awarded an Honorable mention just
behind the Light Breeds Champ/Res.

Sculpting Projects:

Mini Sculptures

I am also working on some Stablemate or Mini size sculptures, which I hope to finish up at least two
of them this spring/summer. One is a standing Andalusian stallion, and two are cantering sport types
(each a bit different pose/breed type). I keep adding bits of epoxy here and there, and now they look
like they are wearing fuzzy slippers, LOL! Keep checking back for upadted photos!

Honrado
1:9 scale (Trad.) Andalusian stallion in piaffe

I will be working hard to finish him up and
have him in production sometime in 2008!

Read more about him, and see him progress from armature to sculpture, here.

Heatwave
1:9 scale (Trad.) Arabian stallion

I have also been working on another Arabian. He will have natural (no bridle path) mane/tail
blowing in the wind. (approx 1:9, so-called Traditional scale) Those who remember my customized
Breyer named Destynn, a 1991 creation, will notice a similarity. I still like the idea and wanted
to create an original sculpture from it. Yes, it's the same ugly green clay and awkward armature
from Tsunami, but everything has been reworked, there is no Tsunami left here! (And I promise
it's the last horse you'll have to see in green... This soft clay and bad armature are OUTTA HERE
when the horse is done!)

Dales Pony Stallion

Currently in the planning stages, a standing Dales Pony stallion, possibly in so-called Classic scale (1:12).

Horse Jewelry

After a couple years of wishing and planning, I am finally starting to produce my own horse jewelry pieces in fine silver! For more details, go to the jewelry page.
