Amadeus Black Friesian stallion. Traditional scale. 2003 work.
"Thor" resin sculpted by Stacey Tumlinson, painted by Jennifer Kistler. He features very slight resculpting above nostrils and on muzzle. Painted by hand (brush) in acrylics. It may not show in the photos, but his coat has subtle changes in sheen (from black with a slight blue sheen to black with a warmer purple sheen) just like a real black horse's coat.

Bronte NSH filly. Stablemate scale. 2000 work.
Customized Breyer stablemate foal, all work by Jennifer Kistler. Slight resculpting in various places, tail flipped up, and painted a foal coat black-bay tobiano. Wish I had better photos, she has neat light soft-looking foal coat pangare underneath and other areas that just didn't show up here.

Bailey's Irish Creme Welsh Sec. A gelding. 2000 work.
Repainted North Light Welsh, painted by Jennifer Kistler.

Sabotage Appaloosa Sporthorse mare. Traditional scale. 1999 work.
Inifnity resin sculpted by K. Moody, painted by Jennifer Kistler.

Impromptu Dutch Warmblood mare. Traditional scale. 1998 work.
Utopia resin sculpted by K. Moody, customized and painted by Jennifer Kistler. Features resculpting on head and other areas, as well as braided hair mane/forelock, hair tail, and the first blue eye I painted. Dressage enthusiasts might recognize the color and markings, inspired by Patty Meyer's Dutch gelding Exakt, featured in a magazine in the mid-1990s.

Chambord American Warmblood gelding. Classic scale. 1996 work.
Classic size Breyer customized and painted by Jennifer Kistler. Lots of resculpting, and even has realistic hair braids painstakingly created from viscose fiber.

Nairobi Warmblood stallion. Classic scale. 1996 work.
Classic size Breyer customized and painted by Jennifer Kistler. Lots of resculpting, and like Chambord, has realistic hair braids.

Riverside Storm
sculpted by Jennifer Kistler, 1993

Khadillac Arabian stallion. Trad. scale. 1993 work.
Riverside Storm was sculpted with epoxy on a wire and foil armature in 1993, and was released as a resin cast edition. He is small Traditional scale (about 1:10). I had planned to produce 100, so they are numbered #xx/100. But only 25 were actually produced, plus a couple artist proofs. I am currently retaining the few remaining copies (none are available for sale). Most were sold painted (by Jennifer), and a few were sold unpainted. Click here for more photos.
