Jennifer Kistler Studios: Handmade Beaded Jewelry

I am starting to produce, one piece at a time, my own exclusive horse designs in fine silver (.999 silver). They will be available strung with stone beads on necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, and possibly also as pendants on simple chains. Below are some of the first ones I have made, an Andalusian Piaffe pendant with matching Andalusian Head earring pieces, and a Wild Pony pendant. Other designs coming soon include a cantering Friesian, dressage horse in trot with rider, and stylized trotting Arab (the original for this one was drawn with a calligraphy pen)! I decided to create my jewelry pieces from Art Clay which is .999 silver after firing in a kiln. This way I have control over each piece from start to finish. Since each is made individually (rather than from a mold for lost wax casting), they can have variations in background shape, texture, and other features. Some may be more decorated, some may have a cubic zirconia stone added, and others will be more primitive looking. Examples below are not for sale, but sale pieces will be coming soon!
