Exclusive horse designs... Made by a horse lover, for horse lovers! I use Etsy for listing my jewelry. Etsy is quick and easy to join in order to purchase from me, and I accept PayPal for payment. I currently ship within the USA and to Canada, but please contact me if you are from another country and are interested in purchasing something! I make my own equine jewelry components in silver. (look for items that say "exclusive".) They are then strung with natural stone beads (and/or other natural beads or glass or crystal) on necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, and also as pendants on chain and leather cord. Designs range from earthy to elegant, and go well with casual to dressy clothing. I have so many ideas of how to use these, and for more horse designs I want to create, this is just the beginning... And I like other nature themes so you will also see pieces featuring leaves, snowflakes, flowers, etc. ABOUT THE SILVER As I contemplated bringing my ideas into reality, I settled on using Art Clay Silver, an innovative metal clay which is fine silver (.999 silver) after firing in a kiln. The silver particles are fused together during firing. The pieces are durable, and closely resemble lost wax cast silver pieces. However, unlike lost wax casting using molds, this medium allows me to create each one by hand from start to finish, with possibilities for customizing the design, with variations in shape, background texture, and additions such as a bail, border, or inlaid cubic zirconia or stone. Some are oxidized for an antiqued patina to enhance the design. Each piece is unique and will have features inherent to the process of making things by hand. ABOUT FINISHED JEWELRY All metal components are sterling or fine silver unless stated otherwise. I carefully choose the beads I use, and stone beads are usually natural, not dye-enhanced (unless stated). Beads are strung on high quality coated beading wire that is both flexible and durable. Crimps which fasten the ends have crimp covers to give a finished look, and prevent scratching and snagging. Earrings use sterling or gold-filled wires or posts. All jewelry is designed and hand-assembled by me, Jennifer, giving you a quality piece handmade with care! MODIFICATIONS and REPAIRS If you have other needs for earrings, the wires or posts can usually be swapped for surgical steel, 14k gold, or 14k white gold (style of wire/post may change, and note there is significant additional cost in upgrading to gold). Many pieces can be adjusted for size at time of purchase if needed, please inquire before buying. Should your piece later need repair or cleaning, I will gladly do so (with possible charge, depending on the issue).
